There is a girl and a boy who live in the same community, they are good friends.they are about 12years old. Both of them are very poor they have to hunt to support their family and themself. Once the girl's sister got pick up to go to The hunger game competition but she volunteer to be tribute instead of her sister.

The characters are very important to the book, if the characters seem to be boring in the beginning that could make people are not going to read the book. In The Hunger Game, the character makes you feel follow the story like to sad, to smile, to laugh with the character.
-Conflict
THe conflict in the story is very important when the reader can feel follow the character that at the point if their is some conflict happened it makes the story more excited.
-Theme
The theme of the story makes the reader understand what is going on and the theme help the book to stay in the same mood or the same direction.
I was also reading The Hunger Games! Do you think it was more suspenseful the way Suzanne Collins made Katniss volunteer for her sister?
